On December 7, 2024, Thai Tissue Culture International Co., Ltd. received a plaque in the Smart Provincial Agricultural Industry Business Development Project (MIND STAR) for the fiscal year 2024, organized by the Ministry of Industry, with Mr. Suphakit Bunsiri, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, presiding over the closing ceremony at Kalana Riverside Resort Hotel, Nonthaburi Province.
The MIND STAR project aims to promote, develop and expand agricultural businesses, create added value for businesses, products or products through the transfer of knowledge of agro-industrial businesses and create smart prototype agro-industrial businessmen, and develop business opportunities.
This year, more than 62 entrepreneurs from all over the country applied to join the project, and 21 entrepreneurs were selected based on the eligibility criteria. They received 21 potential entrepreneurs who received intensive training workshops to share knowledge in agro-industrial business from experts in CAMP #1, including design, branding, and marketing, as well as product presentation by Pitching. Six Super Mind Stars were selected to enter Camp #2, which is a workshop process to provide One-on-One consultation to expand business opportunities. Thai Tissue Culture International Co., Ltd. is one of the six selected entrepreneurs. In addition, all six entrepreneurs received experience sharing and workshops on various topics, such as Content Creator, Re-Production for Advertising, and Social commerce trends.
In fiscal year 2024, entrepreneurs participating in the project can create economic value of more than 100 million baht.
Deputy Permanent Secretary Suphakit said that the MIND STAR project is an important step to help create potential entrepreneurs and elevate the Thai agricultural industry sector to grow sustainably, both in terms of business success and social, community and environmental responsibility, which affects development at the local level, creates more employment in local communities and enables them to compete in the global market. In the fiscal year 2025, the Ministry of Industry, through the Office of the Permanent Secretary, sees that developing Thai entrepreneurs to be able to conduct business sustainably, along with helping communities in all aspects until they can compete in the global market, will have a positive impact on the economy and society in the long run. Therefore, the MIND STAR project has been driven to be distributed to all 76 provinces nationwide so that entrepreneurs can gain knowledge, increase their skills in society, the environment, culture and innovation, as well as have a good entrepreneurial mindset or spirit, and further develop the necessary knowledge to conduct business to develop the current situation towards opportunities for business connections between regions in the future.
